Salima Naran
Advocacy Director

Salima is a dedicated healthcare IT professional with strong leadership skills and extensive experience in all areas of business operations.

She is passionate about helping others, solving problems, challenging the status quo, and getting things done!

Salima is no stranger to endometriosis and has been battling the disease for over 2 decades.  Having finally been diagnosed in April 2010, Salima has continued to fight this uphill battle with the support of the endo community and through self-advocacy.

She is currently awaiting her first excision surgery for pelvic endometriosis and video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) for suspected thoracic/diaphragmatic endo.

She is hopeful that with awareness, education, and advocacy we can implement sustainable change for the future generations.
